If you have volunteering opportunities available at your organisation / club then we can help you find volunteers to fill them. All you have to do is take a look at Volunteer Centre Sunderland's web pages (using the link below) that have been specifically written to assist organisations. You can also register with them and they will advertise your opportunity as well as providing access to training and information on good practice.

Volunteering Opportunities

Assistant Football Coach
Washington AFC are looking for an Assistant Football Coach to help train their 4-12 year olds. You should be FA level 1 qualified as well as having child protection and 1st aid qualifications.

Walk Leaders
Wellness...It's a Walk in the Park was successfully launched in April this year and we are now looking for volunteers to lead regular walks in the following parks:

Backhouse Park
Mowbray Park
Barnes Park
Roker Park
Hetton Lyons Country Park
Princess Anne Park
Silksworth Sports Complex
James Steel Park
Herrington Country Park
Hylton Dene Park

Full walk leader training will be given and walks can be delivered to fit in with your own schedule.

The Walk in the Park programme is being developed to include longer local walks in the future.
