Sporting Success in Sunderland

Here in Sunderland we have some amazing talent from trampolinists to boxers, from swimmers to footballers so we thought we'd celebrate them and let everyone know how amazingly well they're doing. 

Remember, if you know a talented young athlete and they are in need of financial support please apply to the Sunderland Sports Fund.  

Swimming Success!

The City of Sunderland Amateur Swimming Association has many talented swimmers within their club and have attended the following competitions recently:

National age groups - Top performer was Lucy Walton who won 3 medals including gold in the 200m backstroke. 

National Youth Championships - Top performer was Jonny Carlisle who won 2 medals and Adam Taylor who won silver in the 200m backstroke.
