Coalfields Regeneration Trust - Funding News


The Department for Communities and Local Government has awarded funding of £30 million over the next two years to The Coalfields Regeneration Trust. This extra funding will enable the Trust to continue supporting the social and economic regeneration of the English Coalfields. 

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) is an independent regeneration organisation that was established in 1999 to improve the quality of life in Britain’s coalfield communities. The trust offers grants through two programmes, these are; Bridging the Gap and their main grants programme.

The Bridging the Gap programme offers grants from £500 to £5000 to voluntary and community groups for projects that can be completed within 12 months.
