Cash for Kids

Cash 4 Kids is the umbrella brand for Bauer Radio’s network of independently registered local charities that channel funds from the local community to support the welfare of their own youngsters. With cash raised and donated locally, each charity guarantees that generous donations from listeners and the community will go to bring, hope, healing or happiness to a child in our local area. 

Cash for Kids welcomes grant applications for a variety of specified projects and capital appeals. Examples include the purchase of medical, educational or sporting equipment, the funding of holiday schemes or transport facilities and the development of activities amongst children and young teenagers. Staff funding is not usually successful.

All funds are distributed to provide relief from sickness, handicap or disadvantage amongst children under the age of 18 or to assist in the promotion of the physical, mental and general welfare of youngsters who reside within the transmission area of Metro Radio and Magic 1152.
